I enjoyed listening to the diary entries of Alan Rickman. It was interesting to hear about his interests, perspectives, travelling and the many people he met. Certainly some curious insights here and there and also a reminder of what major events happened during time he made notes. One of my highlights was hearing his perspective on Harry Potter, when he was first asked to play Snape.

dass mich diese Biografie so fesseln würde.

Selbst aus den kurzen Einträgen heraus konnte ich erkennen, dass Alan Rickman sich ganz dem Schauspiel verschrieben hatte, aber sich selbst dabei nicht über andere Kollegen stellte. Er lobte mehrere in höchsten Tönen und sagte häufig, dass vergebene Trophäen verdient gewesen seien oder auch, dass jemand sie verdient aber nicht bekommen habe.

Er erzählte von Freunden und Freundschaften aber auch vom Tod. Der Schmerz über den Verlust seiner Mutter war so deutlich, dass ich ihn selbst fühlte.

Sein feinsinniger Humor ist zu spüren und seine Liebe zu Rima, von der er sinngemäß wiederholt sagte "Rima kam und alles war wieder in Ordnung."

Alan Rickman muss ein überaus liebenswerter Mann gewesen sein. Ich habe geweint, als Rima Horton über seinen Tod sprach.
