I was looking for a book that - kinda in the vain of Fellow Travellers - that tells the story of gay men during WW2.
This was everything I´ve hoped for - and then some.
It was informative, gruesome, emotional, tender and unexpectedly hot at times.
But most of all - it was a beautifully told love-story - without sap and realistically told.
And man - I was not expecting that last chapter to hit me so hard - I literally shed tears I was so happy for them.

Giive it a try - you will not be disappointed.
