I enjoyed the story. Some tropes are classics for a reason and fake dating is one I like when done well. I did get a little annoyed with Ari from time to time (miscommunication) but that was tied into the story, so it fit.
Cute fake relationship, fade to black/closed door romance in a hectic Hollywood setting and narrated well, as per usual with Greg Boudreau

Very easy going audio-experience. Maybe superficial, but in a lovely way. Kind of LGBTQ version of „The Proposal“, the best: it was included into my Audible subscription.

Die Charaktere sind flach, unsympathisch und verhalten sich unlogisch. Die Story hat mich entsprechend nicht wirklich emotional angesprochen.

Die Geschichte hat wirklich gut angefangen, doch dann wurde viel Potential liegen gelassen. Charakterentwicklung und vor allem auch Beziehungsentwicklung zwischen den Hauptcharakteren blieb leider an vielen Stellen auf der Strecke. Anderes wurde dafür unnötig in die Länge gezogen, wie z.b. Ari's Offenbarung seiner Gefühle. Außerdem war es schade, dass die Sexszene nicht ausgeschrieben war. Wenn der Sprecher nicht so verdammt großartig!!! wäre, hätte ich das Hörbuch sicher vor dem Ende abgebrochen :(

So viel Potential wurde nicht ausgeschöpft!
