I am steadily working my way through all the DCI Banks books, one after another in order. I found this one to be exciting, if a little harrowing for one of the main characters. I'm getting particularly fond of DC Hattersley and his down to earth Yorkshire approach to things. Once again, lots of visits to pubs and name dropping of great British beers.

Enjoyable, if somewhat harrowing.
