there have been stories by this author that I really enjoyed - however, this is none of them. pure stubbornness carried me through this audiobook. hours of my life that I will never get back. I am truly sorry to say this but the whole story is so predictable and repeating descriptions over and over again doesn't make them any more meaningful than they were the first time. what also really sickened me was how passive Amelia is throughout the entire book. I could tell that Jenny Frame is trying really hard to make her appear equal to Byron that she totally lacks layers in character. she is described as purely good - the essence of innocence - which just gets boring pretty soon. she has some amazing skills that she apparently knows of but never uses and for some reason everybody good or bad falls for her. again I'm sorry to say it but what also really bothered me was that nothing about Byron is female. basically this is not a lesbian Love Story. Byron is Amelia's husband not her wife and the fact that she's got a pussy underneath her strap-on does not change that. totally and utterly stereotypical gender roles masked by "queerness".
