A must for researchers of emotions with bad audio
I already got the 3rd edition and needed to find out about the state of research in a special field. This is why I didn't buy the whole printed version again and tried to listen to the significant chapters. Unfortunately, Coleen Marlo seems to swallow syllables all the time in addition to slurring into the following word. My download quality is on "high", I have tried slowing it down, but the problem persists. The syllables simply aren't there. Since the content is highly complex and hard to follow cognitively anyway, it is awfully exhausting to sort the language out simultaneously. So, well done, free market! I'll buy the 4th printed edition and hope there has been enough headway to make this repeated chunk of money worth it... :-) I'm sorry, Ms Marlo!
