Diese Trilogie stellt alle meine zuletzt gelesenen und gehörten Bücher in den Schatten. Kann es nur jedem ans Herz legen. Grip als ultimativer cinnamon roll MMC ist mein neuer lieblings-book boyfriend. Die Sprecher sind phänomenal und die Story lässt mich nicht mehr los. Hab die drei Teile innerhalb von vier Tagen durchgehört.

Unglaublich gut

Anfangs habe ich das Buch und das dazugehörige Audiobook nur wegen der Sprecherin Maxine Mitchell gekauft. Kaum hatte ich die ersten zwei Kapitel gehört wurde mir sofort klar: 1. Die Autorin der Geschichte ist eine wahre Poetin und schreibt so herzzerreißend schön und eloquent, dass man das Buch in ein paar Stunden verschlingt. 2. Die Sprecherin Maxine Mitchell ist ein Garant höchsten Hörgenuss zu erleben und Überraschung: es ist eine gemischtreassische Liebesgeschichte und die sind leider sehr sehr selten und 3. die schwarzamerikanische Hauptfigur wird tatsächlich von einem farbigen Sprecher so wunderbar gesprochen, dass man eher glaubt einen Film zu sehen, als ein Buch zu lesen und hören. Beide Audiobooks (1. FLOW und 2. GRIP) werde ich für immer behalten und mir mehrmals anhören.

KENNEDY Ryan is a good writer so the writing style is very compelling. And the narrators did a really good job. That being said. I hated the story. I could Not stand it anymore. The heroine Was a self absorbed, selfish, entitled whiny brat. Even after 50% of the book she still could Not get over herself. Someone who rejects love so vehemnetly, does not deserve to have it. 8 Years of mutual pining for no reason other than the heroine's stubborness. The reasons given: her daddy cheated on her mommy!!! . At this point i don't care anymore if they get together or Not. I don't root for them. I even don't want to read about them getting together, since this is a romance and there will be a HEA eventually. But f#*k that. DNF
