While the first book in this series was alright, this one is a true masterpiece. The author leads the reader through an emotional journey full of heartache and hope so well written I was sometimes doubting whether I might need some mood stabilizors. An interesting plot, characters with a lot of depth and believable, well written trauma responses. Great book! The only minus for me was the male narrator, he just lacks the emotional voicecapacity I like.
