I like the story. But the whole self loathing is taken to an almost annoying point. Example he goes crazy and says “take her away from me I need her safe” or something along those lines and she’s like “oh my god he hates me, I’m worthless”. He spent the whole book telling her how he wants her blah blah and she keeps on going “he doesn’t want me”
