This isn't making my favorites list, but the audiobook was decent for an included one in the Audible catalogue.

It is a pretty average alien romance. It relies on the fated mates trope and the plot of we don't have any women and human women are compatible with us. There's a background mystery/tension in the alien society, which is somewhat compelling in that when it was revealed I was really wondering where it would go and upset about it. That said, the book is fast and the romance basically non-existent because of the trope and speed of the book. There is plenty of spice, which is explicit open-door, though.
