The writing style is good enough and there is no problem with the narrator, my issue was with the plot itself. There is not enough romance for it to be the main thing, and there is not enough politics to make drama the main thing... this book falls somewhere in the middle of every category and it just wasn't my cup of tea.
There were great ideas in the mix, the author isn't bad. I just couldn’t connect with the characters and the story, but if you are unsure if you should give it a go: do it, maybe you'll like it.
I'll probably check other books from the author later.
