10/10, a treat from start to finish
I chose this audio book for the brilliant voice of Laura Horowitz. I did not know the author and have never read a cozy fantasy before. And I am so glad I chose to buy this audio book. There is literally nothing I would change about it. It is enjoyable in every aspect and the storytelling is witty and charming. I am just in love with this book. I finished it two days ago and have already recommended it twice and bought the second book. ❤️

So good!
I love this book! It's cozy but not boring and the narration is brilliant! Heard about this author on critrpgpodcast and was not sure if cozy is for me but I decided to try it. I'm positively surprised that there is actually a good story and the world is fun to explore.
I'm a bit sad that I got cheated out of a dungeon dive because the author is so creative in their world building that I would have liked to see what creative dungeon ideas could have come up, I hope to see more dungeons in future works.
I like the European work conditions as a parent using my right for "Brückenteilzeit" atm. I approve, they still could use free daycare in the forest. I still don't understand the difference between "Resurrect" and "Revive" it gets explained at the end of the story or I missed it but I can't keep the two separate.
Also the author is totally at fault for me starting to bake raspberry scones with my kid for my wife and they are brilliant, didn't know scones before, now I have a new favourite recipe to experiment with!

Listened to this book again
These two characters have such a sweet lovestory and the humor is on point. It's such a joy listening to this book and it reminds me not to waste my time with stories I don't really like. There are too many good books like this out there waiting to be heard.
Both narrators do an excellent job.

Wunderbare cozy Geschichte
Zu hören angefangen wegen der Sprecherin, geblieben wegen dem Sprecher. Die Geschichte war auch ganz gut.
