Over the past few days I have listened to this book. And I have enjoyed it very much. If you like biographies, and are interested in professional insights from someone with an incredible career, try this.

I just wish it had a few additional chapters with stories from Nintendo, but I guess that speaks for the book.

Un dieses Buch zu genießen, sollte man sich für zwei Dinge interessieren: Nintendo, und das Leben als Geschäftsmann. Es handelt sich im Grunde um Lebensweisheiten, Erfahrungen und Anekdoten aus dem Leben von Reggie Fils-Aimé, in denen er sich auch ausführlich seiner Erfahrung als Führungskraft vor der Zeit bei Nintendo widmet. Wer sich nur für Nintendo und nicht für Ratschläge für Führungspersönlichkeiten interessiert, wird in diesem Teil des Buches nicht auf seine Kosten kommen.
Wer das aber spannend findet, hat hier ein von vorne bis hinten gut geschriebenes Buch. Es ist so kurzweilig wie lehrreich. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert, und mit einigen spannenden Einblicken hinter die Kulissen von Nintendo.

Eine wertvolle Perspektive aus dem Inneren nicht nur der Spiele-Branche

I was sceptical at first thinking that Reggie missed an opportunity for an interesting auto-biography book by turning it into another faceless business advise thing. But I was glad to be proven wrong. Sure, it has a lot of leadership and business talk and lessons, but all of them are based on the stories and experiences of his life. And the biggest focus is, of course, on his time and his relationships at Nintendo. To anyone familiar with that company or any gamer of mid 2000s this audiobook will provide a lot of interesting behind-the-scenes stories. Last but not least - Reggie narrating the audiobook is a pleasant bonus as he is an amazing speaker.
