Die Ideen, welche in diesem Buch sehr zugänglich präsentiert werden haben das Potential der Hammer zu werden der die Neoliberalen Zustände zerschlägt und die neue Welt aufbaut. Vielleicht wird man dieses Buch einst als ein frühes Werk einer Bewegung der Befreiungsneurologie verstehen

Sapolsky ist mein Lieblingswissenschafts Autor. ich dachte eigentlich zu dem Thema alles Wichtige zu wissen. Die Leseprobe hat mich dann aber doch überzeugt das gesamte Werk kennen lernen zu wollen und es hat mich so angeregt, dass ich das Hörbuch noch zusätzlich erworben habe: Jeweils ein Kapitel als ganzes erzählt bekommen und dann abends noch einmal in der Tiefe im Buch erarbeiten.

Trotz des schweren Themas hat er durchaus Humor und das kommt in dem Hörbuch auch sehr gut rüber.

There are so many aspects to this book that give the listener food for thought, but I'm surprised to feel so much alignment to Sapolsky's view point and research. It's a fascinating book, back with the author's own questioning.
As a dyslexic person I found the lack of direct noting with the PDF a struggle
