Sir Paul Nurse is one of Britain's greatest living scientists.

It's a book that many others have written before (starting with the very title, obviously). It's neither the most complete nor the most comprehensive nor the most objective nor the most entertaining one in this long tradition. Hence, one may ask: Why even bother to write it, why even bother to publish it? I find it quite superfluous - solid in what it is but eventually unnecessary, nothing more than a refresher on pretty basic matters really. Also, the narrator (= the author) has a slight lisp.

Nothing new here
