Overal a very good story but a bit annoying in its throwbacks

I quite love the story and the idea of hemp based technology is very funny and inventive but my gripe is that this story is all over the place with time and place of what is happening getting not so subtle foreshadowing and you basically already knowing what happened but the story still going back in time to 1 year back or 1 day even when they basically spoiled what will haben with a disjointed interlude
