Beauty and the Beast at its best. Mihail with all his scars is simply wonderful and despite her young age, Bianca has a strong, fearless personality that stands by him at all times. I love that! I love the stories about Roman, Mihail and Sergej and am looking forward to part 4- hoping it can match up with the first 3 parts!

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought to define a mafia torture enforcer as dreamy, but here we are! Mikhail was so damn sweet, not only to his little princess of a daughter but also to Bianca. It broke my heart how he saw himself and how others treated him like a beast because of how he looked. He was just a big murderous teddy bear.
Yes, I know the contradiction in my statement, but I can’t find a better way to define him. As for Bianca, she was just excellent as a partner to Mikhail, always in tune with what he was feeling.

I loved this, loosely (and I mean very loosely) a Beauty and the Beast-type book. The narration was good, but sometimes the female narrator sounded a bit whiny. Other than that, it was great.

I love this series - the female mc are quite capable and headstrong.
Mikahil and Bianca are my favourite couple.

I lost count on how many times I have read or listened to this book already. It is so beautiful. The whole series is great, but this is definetely my favourite book. If you like "Light" Mafia Romances (no cruelty between MCs) with overprotective men, who often do crazy but oh so sweet things for their girls, and fall hard for them, this series is for you. It doesn't have to be read in order, but it's certainly better that way. Anyways, go read at least one book in this series! You will be hooked!

Besonders gefallen hat mir der Schreibstill der Autorin. Die immer wieder wechselnden Perspektiven der beiden Hauptcharaktere haben der Geschichte so viel mehr tiefe und Verständnis für deren Gedanken und Handlungen gegeben, das es sich angefühlt hat als wäre man direkt im Geschehen. Wunderbare Geschichte mit Spice, Romance und dem perfekten Hauch an Düsternis.

So ein gutes Buch. Die Stimmen perfekt und passend zu den Protagonisten🤗 sehr unterhaltsam und empfehlenswert👍🏻

Mir hat gefallen, dass die Protagonistin kein kein ängstliches kleines Mädchen ist, was sich in der nähe des Protagonisten kaum bewegen konnte, sondern dass sie selbst auch auf ihn zugrgangen ist

I really liked the story of Bianca and Mihail who both have their own challenges and overcome them together. Mihail is such an interesting mix of murderer and sweet-and-hot husband and tender father! As such, I would have given it at least four stars!
... if it weren't for the following: when asked about his daughter, Mihail talks about his ex wanting to abort the baby because she clearly did not want to have one, and Mihail threatening to kill her was a HORRIBLE thing to hear, disgusting, and I couldn't quite get over it for the rest of the book. Mihail's ex having to carry a baby to term and birth her even though she did not want to is a terrible thing to have to hear given everything going on in the world right now concerning abortions!
Something else that annoyed me (though by far not as much) was hearing about Roman treating Nina (protagonists of the first book) like she's not fit to make her own choices anymore, barely letting her leave the house, ordering her around even though she is the one who knows best how she feels - all just because she's pregnant. Yes, you can see it as protective, concerned etc if you want but for me it comes across as controlling more than anything... also, say it with me: a pregnancy is not a disease and the woman who is pregnant will know best what she can and cannot do!
The spicy scenes in this story are all very similar, there is little variety, but I anyway only realized that towards the end so it wasn't a big deal for me.
