Great book to understand the family ties

This book has some tear inducing moments that really emotionally moved me, but also wholesome and funny moments that warmed my Azeroth-loving heart. It also has some exciting fantasy action and thriller.
Unfortunately, the plot doesn't make any sense. It starts of quite exciting but then it features the dumb villain trope who killed countless of people suddenly choosing not to kill the protagonists because reasons... Plot armor is strong with Turalyon, Alleria and Arator.
As a child of divorced parents the family dynamics quite moved me and made me feel joyous and then sad, but Alleria's reasons for breaking up seemed more like forced drama rather than a character driven choice.
I dozed off multiple times while listening and I truly feel like the book could have been half the length.
Nevertheless it's a fun read for Warcraft fans but hardly mandatory reading such as Illidan or Arthas' books.
Fantastic narration, voice acting and prose. Senseless plot.
