When the council is derailed by a failed assassination attempt on Talanji—the Zandalari queen and a key ally—Thrall and the rest of the Horde leaders are forced into action. They empower the young troll shaman Zekhan, still grieving the loss of Varok Saurfang, with a critical mission to aid Talanji and help uncover the rising threat against her.

Meanwhile, Nathanos Blightcaller and Sira Moonwarden have been tasked by the Dark Lady with a terrifying gambit: to kill the troll loa of death himself, Bwonsamdi.

As Zekhan and Talanji work to save Bwonsamdi, their journey will be a key turning point in bolstering the Horde against the coming darkness and finding themselves along the way. Am relevantesten
I really enjoyed this audiobook. The characters are well written, so is the story. It fits perfectly into the lore of the Warcraft universe. Susan Wokoma also does an excellent job at telling the story. Even though she voices one character in WoW, hearing her speak for other characters didnt break the illusion, its almost like as she melts into every role in the story.

Would recommend this to anyone who plays WoW, and especially those who had to suffer through Battle for Azeroth. While the expansion had many flaws, this story was a great way for me to let go of BfA, and look towards the future of World of Warcraft.

The voice of this audiobook sounds weirdly unnatural and somewhat unfitting, which greatly distracts from the story sadly. :(

musikalisches das Hörbuch sehr gut, auch der Sprecher ist top. Allerdings ist die Geschichte für mich wenig fesselnd gewesen.

The book is ok. story is ok, writing style is ok, Susan Wokoma is great as usual, author sadly turned out to be a bigoted racist and sexist.

If you a a big Warcraft fan, you probably already own the book on kindle as well as a hardcover for your shelve and you got the audio book just like me.

If you are new to the warcraft franchise i'd suggest buying Richard Knaak's War of the Ancients trilogy, Rise of the Horde + Lord of the Clans and Dawn of the Aspects as those are imo far superior works.

Spannung wird man hier verzweifelt suchen. Das ganze ist eher dahingeklatscht als würde man einer Geschichtsstunde in der Schule beiwohnen. Die Person die es Gelesen hat fand das ganze wohl auch recht langweilig, denn genauso klingt jene: gelangweilt.

Das schlechteste Buch in der Warcraft Geschichte.
