After decades of war against alien oppressors, the humans of the Defiant Defense Force are finally free. Yet for Arturo Mendez, leader of Skyward Flight, freedom isn't what he thought it would be.

This was a lot of fun to listen to! I enjoyed getting to know more characters in the Cytoverse, especially with more of a focus on "normal" (or at least, less overpowered) characters.

My one critique would be that the speed of the recordings didn't match, and Sophie Aldred's voice especially seemed to have been slowed down to an unnatural rate, which was unfortunate. It was bothersome to have to adjust the speed between chapters to keep the same reading rate.
This seems like a production issue rather than a performance one, but I wasn't sure where else to take the star from.
