Great characters and the numerous ongoing plots are exciting. Here you will find action and adventure.
Well written and performed! For non-native speakers, this audiobook is pretty easy to follow.
Brilliant - like Wayward Galaxy or Ruins of the Earth / Galaxy.

Start of a new fantastic series

The idea of the story can be fun, the characters are passably likeable and the world isn't badly built, but sadly the story itself isn't believeable.
From minor stuff like the protagonists grandfather being one of the best peacemakers and having a stash of weapons on the ship, but not having enough money to preserve his ship in top condition to story breaking mistakes like Perry the super AI seemingly forgetting to tell the protagonist that the target ship could be boobytrapped before he tries to open it.

Well, as a sci-fi fan I grabbed this book and expected a lot.
And honestly, the story is quite good and a nice piece of sci-fi.

But the book has its lengths. The way to awareness nearly made me quit.

Hope to be more impressed with the coming chapters.

Good story, exited for the next book

Die Geschichte ist schnell erzählt: ein junger Amerikaner erbt ein Raumschiff und einen galaktischen Sheriffstern und ist suuuuuuper cool. Schon 1000 Mal gehört. Aber die Geschichte ist gut gelesen und darum erträglich.
Unerträglich ist der ideologische Hintergrund: im All herrscht aller technischer Überlegenheit zum Trotz eine Wild-West-Justiz, die dermassen korrupt ist, dass sich sogar Pat Garrett dafür geschämt hätte. Ach und natürlich stammt die Geschichte aus jenem Land, in dem man keine Ausbildung braucht, um ein Cop zu werden.
