Great mix of slapstick and suspense. Part 1 was even better, though. Still I‘ll follow this series on.

what I liked best are the strong characters with all their ingenuity and kinks so lovably desribed through their feelings, conciousness and dialogues, often funny and with surprising depth.

Irish characters in a detective story full of action, mindful and funny

This made me laugh but I thought book 1 “A man with one of those faces” was better. The narrator was absolutely brilliant and I love Bunny’s Cork accent - just listening to that alone made me giggle. Recommended if you need a good story and a smile.

Great story line and wonderful how the characters interact with each other.
Since I can’t wait for Caimh McDonnell to bring out his next book, I’m currently listening to all the books again.
Absolutely love the stories.
