Becky Brandon (nee Bloomwood) is in Hollywood! It's as if all her life has been leading to this moment. She's hanging out with the stars … or at least she will be, when she finally gets to meet movie superstar Sage Seymour, whom husband Luke is now managing.

There's so much to see and do! And getting Minnie through the hurdles for her A-list Hollywood pre-school will require some…er…help.

Becky sets her heart on a new career - she's going to be a celebrity stylist. Red carpet, here she comes! But Becky soon finds it's tough in Tinseltown. Luckily her best friend Suze comes over to keep her company, and together they embark on the Hollywood insider trail. But somehow...things aren't quite working out as they’d hoped.

Then Becky's big chance comes, and it's an opportunity that money can't buy. But will it cost her too much?

It's one of her best novels: funny, heartwarming, entertaining spiced with some absurd situations! I could definitely recognizing me, on the red carpet...

The best!

I just started to listen to this Episode - finally another Becky Story, actually I don't like the other ones from Sophie Kinsella - and must say: great speaker, I missed Emily Grey in the later episodes and didn't care much for the other speakers but Clare Corbett is so great with all the different voices and accents, please keep her for the other Becky Story. Actually, I will look at once if she does other interesting audio books..
As for the story: as always funny, inventive chick-lit for relaxing and laughing.

Great story and great speaker

Used to love the stories written by Sophie Kinsella. This was seriously bad. No humour, no laughters, superficial and unrelated. And the worst- the narrator! How on earth is she supposed to whisper all the time. I didn’t understand a word most of the time that’s why I turned up the volume. The next time a character shouted something it made me jump. Really bad performance! Never again!

Where’s the humour and fun gone???

Schade!

Enttäuschend
