Für alle Frauen...ihr werdet Ähnlichkeiten erkennen. Sophie Kinsella bringt typische Frauen"problemchen" so genau auf den Punkt und übertreibt sie noch, dass man nur denkt:"Jaaa, sie hat so recht!!!" Man muss einfach über sich selbst und Frauen im allgemeinen lachen. Ein tolles Hörbuch, richtig witzig, skuril und super zu verstehen!!!

O.k.: Kinsella-Bücher sind völlig übertrieben und unrealistisch. Auf die Frage "Und, was liest Du gerade?" antwortet man zugegebenermaßen auch lieber mit etwas Seriöserem. Aber was soll's - "Can you keep a secret?" ist einfach verdammt komisch und kurzweilig. Man hat Protagonistin Emma und die liebevoll beschriebenen weiteren Charaktere schnell ins Herz geschlossen, lacht und leidet mit ihnen, und ist ein bißchen traurig, wenn das (vorhersehbare) Happy End eintritt. Viel Spaß!

Die Vorleserin ist klasse und paßt wundervoll. Sie liest emotionsreich, passend zum Inhalt und trifft genau den richtigen Ton ohne zu übertrieben zu wirken. Ich habe mich sehr amüsiert. Die Hauptperson wird herrlich naiv-chaotisch dargestellt und auch die anderen Charaktere werden lebendig ...
Auch der Inhalt des Buches hält gefesselt und amüsiert die ganzen 10 Stunden lang auf eine leichte Weise. Ein Unterhaltungsroman: sehr schön zum Abschalten und zum Füllen von langen müßigen Stunden.
Fazit: wirklich empfehlenswert für Fans von Bridget Jones & Co.

Ich habe das Buch gerade zu Ende gehört und bin noch ganz glücklich :-) Ich finde Sophie Kinsella beobachtet sehr gut, sie schildert typische Situationen und Gedanken, die jeder wiedererkennt und übertreibt sie. Ich musste oft laut loslachen. Eine Mischung aus Realismus und Absurdität.
Sie zeigt in aller Ausführlichkeit, wie omnipräsent und teilweise destruktiv die gutgemeinten tagtäglichen Lügen in Emmas, der Hauptperson, Welt (und vermutlich in unserer) sind. Ein Plädoyer für die Ehrlichkeit.
Natürlich ist es in erster Linie ein Unterhaltungsroman, leichtfüßig, sehr witzig und mit einem Seufz-ich-will-auch romantisch-schönen Happy End.
Die Sprecherin ist gut, teilweise hängt sie sich sehr rein in die verschiedenen Stimmen. Manchmal hat das ein bisschen genervt.
Das Englisch ist gut verständlich, schön british, ovary heißt übrigens Eierstock.
Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Romantisch, witzig und ein bisschen weise

Habe selten so viel gelacht während eines Hörbuches! Wer ein bissel Ablenkung und gute Laune braucht, liegt mit diesem Buch goldrichtig. Emma und Jack sind sehr sympatisch, nur Emmas Mitbewohnerinnen nerven etwas gegen Ende. Für Lacher sind sie aber auch gut! der Epilog hätte noch etwas länger und kitschiger sein können aber das humorvolle Statement hat durchaus gepasst.

ps: Man denkt automatisch nach welche kleinen Geheimnisse man selbst hat und das macht das Buch zu etwas ganz besonderem!
