Nein. Ich lese gerne selber, aber aus Zeitgründen greife ich gerne zu Hörbüchern. Jim Frangione ist wie immer toll.Welches andere Buch würden Sie mit The Beast vergleichen? Warum?
Innerhalb der Serie BDB ist Lover Eternal am ähnlichsten. Beide Bücher haben Rhage als Hauptprotagonisten. Und ich finde, dass bei beiden Fällen tiefergehende Gefühle eine Rolle spielen.Außerhalb der Serie vielleicht "Lord of the Fading Lands". Obwohl das noch mehr Fantasy ist als The Beast, ist die Kernstory ähnlich. Über-Mann verliebt sich in unscheinbare Frau, die ihn dann auf emotionaler Ebene rettet.Wie hat Ihnen Jim Frangione als Sprecher gefallen? Warum?
Mr. Frangione ist wie immer toll. Seine tiefe Stimme passt einfach zu den Brüdern.Hätten Sie das Hörbuch am liebsten in einem Rutsch durchgehört?
Na ja, es ist schon ein sehr langes Buch, aber ich finde es schön, wenn man immer wieder in eine andere Welt eintauchen kann und die Geschichte nicht an einem Tag an einem vorbeizieht. Auf aller Fälle ist das Buch nie langweilig. Man muss sich schon zwingen mit dem Hören eine Pause einzulegen.Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
Aus der ganzen Reihe der "Black Dagger Brothehood"-Romanen finde ich die 2 mit Rhage als Hauptperson am besten. Dieser "2"-ter Teil seiner Geschichte ist zwar manchmal ein bißchen zu kitschig, aber das wird auf aller Fälle aufgewogen durch die Nebenstränge mit Asail. Auf seine 2. Geschichte freue ich mich schon. (Ich hoffe doch, dass Mrs. Ward eine schreibt)Black Dagger Brotherhodd at its best!
