14 Stunden mehr oder weniger detaillierte Sexszenen, dazwischen ein paar oberflächliche Unterhaltungen, mini Handlungen "sie wurdet übetrfallen, er hatte angst um sie und musste erstmal sein Geschlechtstei in ihr versenken". Das Ganze etwas dreckiger und leicht bdsm angehaucht. ..
Die Sprecherin ist super, daher noch 3 Sterne. Die Sexszenen waren unterhaltsam, mehr aber auch nicht.

Die Story selbst ist eigentlich ganz gut, aber leider wird sie zu sehr mit sehr bildlich beschriebenen Sexszenen durchzogen. Darunter leidet leider die Geschichte selbst.

I feared the worst but ... There are aproximately 3 sex scenes within the first 4 hours of this books - not sooo much after all. ;)
The speaker does a good job - I was glad to see she's done the next book as well. I could almost see Taryn and Trey's grandma in front of my inner eyes while bantering in the kitchen.

Not so much Sex after all

Outward seeming inferior female latent alpha wolf shifter earns respect of a whole pack and tames rogue alpha pack leader. With wit and a sharp tongue they fit each other piece by piece until they form a flawed and stitched whole that's beautiful and unique. They always see eye to eye and change each other to the better without anyone bending like a pretzel. I love the way Tarryn fights with words, or Dominic always comes up with new tasteless jokes. I love the consequence with which Tarryn and Trey fight for dominance and need baby steps to give in and let the reigns down. There is never a gap in the ways they take and give. They match in every way possible and necessary. The narration was pure perfection. I love the voice and the way, she brings life to the characters.

I wanted to listen to a love story. What I ended up, listening to was a story about nonconsensual and brutally violent sex, which left the female protagonist, harshly marked with bruises, bites, and slashes from being clawed. Arbitrarily the protagonist strength was portrayed by her insulting others with crude, abusive remarks.

I deleted the book without finishing it.

I love fantasy of all kinds. Although this is about shifters it's just a very descriptive romance. The humour was good but it was a nothing story. oh and sex. lots and lots of sex. the ending very predictable...

I am a dominant woman, I had enough partners (with love, friendship and deep feelings and all) in my live and I met a lot of dominant, submissive or switching people (and talked with them about these things) to have a good understanding of it.
A woman that is truly dominant will always be violated by someone that demands submission from her and don't even give a tiny bit of submission to her back in return. If to dominant partners really want to make a relationship work they have to find a balance between them (in what way they find it, is up to them, talking/fighting/ignoring each other...) but in this books, the male want to x the female into submission and the females give into that because they care about the male... bullshit, doesn't work that way. For a moment maybe it could work, the female could bite back the violation of her soul and body but it will never be right and lead to resentment/hatred (the deepest hate you can feel can only come for someone you deeply love) or at least, it will dig a hole in her soul for not meeting her natural desires. It sounded like >the lesbian only needs the right dick to pound her straight again<
For me some of the Things that happen in this Books (i read the first 2) feel like soul-rape, because the heroines are dominant woman, its against there nature (and the author writes that her self) its intrusive and disgusting.
If the females in this books would be self assured proud submissive woman that don't take crap from anyone but wanna get dominated in bed, it would be understandable. A submissive woman can also be a fighter to make sure the partner is worthy before submitting. But breaking a dominant female into submission is rape.

I can put myself in other positions just fine and i can understand feelings of others just fine (even if i would never feel this way in there positions) but in this books submissive people are discriminated because the author have no understanding of them and make a mockery out of it all. A submissive male can also be proud, strong and a good fighter and he also must be won over or fight to get his woman. There are also male that have to be dominant in "work"-policy (here pack) or social life but need a dominant woman in a partner, why are all that books that narrowed on asshole behavior is sexy?
Why cant a alpha wolf be submissive in bed or just worship his dominant woman like she deserves?

Side note for the fist two books: that every term of endearment is "baby" and the relationship development is nearly identical, should say everyone who thinks about reading these series, that you only need to read one of them to know them all.

I give more than 1 Star because the books are good written in a technical sense, good narrated and i often laughed about the jokes.
