Über diesen Titel

”Forbidden romance at its sexiest!” - DANIELLE L. JENSEN, author of The Bridge Kingdom

It was supposed to be a quick mission. The only thing quick about it was how rapidly I failed. With only a month left to earn her missing feathers, twenty-year-old Leigh embarks on a trip to Paris to meet her newest project, twenty-five-year-old Jarod Adler, leader of the Parisian Mafia and the worst kind of sinner . . . a Triple.

If Leigh can get Jarod to accomplish a single act of kindness, she stands to win 100 feathers, more than enough to complete her wings and ascend to Elysium, the land of angels. What she doesn’t count on is Jarod's dark charm costing her feathers. She’s dead set on saving him, and he’s dead set on destroying her. Until he realizes destroying her wings is also destroying her heart. A heart he longs to hear beat only for him.

Fans of dark supernatural romance will devour this modern ROMEO & JULIET retelling today.

*Warning: FEATHER deals with dark topics, such as suicide, and contains graphic sex.

Engaging story but nothing special. A little sappy and cringeworthy at time but that’s most likely a me problem, Nothing to dislike but not enough to give it more than 3 ⭐️

6/5 stars.
Love the narrator for this.

This book destroyed me, why did you do that to me? What ending was that? Great way to finish my reading in tears!

Honestly I liked everything about this story. I loved Leigh aka Feather, she’s so caring and earnest. She’s fierce when she needs to be and she’s also fair.
The most important trait is that she never gives up no matter what.
Jarod is everything, he’s so damaged inside. I just want to hug him and never let go.
He’s so scared of love or caring for another but in comes Feather to change his view on the world and oh boy she does just that. Their love was precious from beginning to the “end”.
I loved every single interaction between them. One of my favorite moments was when Jarod touched Leigh’s wings, that was perfection. I also loved their sexy times although I would’ve loved more detailed about them 🤭.

Tristan, Jarod’s best friend, I wasn’t expecting him to be so angry with the world. He really surprised me and not in a good way which was a bummer since I really liked him at the beginning but oh well I won’t share any tears for him that’s for sure.
I loved Muriel so much, I could feel her motherly affection through the book. I just loved everything about her.

Now Asher, he’s an a-hole honestly. I didn’t trusted him at the beginning because I knew he wasn’t one to be trusted which honestly isn’t that surprising. Angels tend to be more scheming than Demons or the Devil 🤷‍♀️
I thought he was gonna help Leigh because he had so many opportunities to do so but did he? Oh no he didn’t! Can you tell I’m mad at him already?
After so many opportunities to help them, why did he wait until the VERY VERY End to do something about it? I still can’t believe the ending! I’m angry and frustrated with Asher and I can tell he’s gonna suffer for doing what’s he’s doing but at this moment I don’t care very much about him . With that being said I also know I gonna love him at the end of this so 🙈
As you can see I have very mixed feeling about him.

My heart 🥺
