The humor in Geissinger’s books are the best and her characters are amazing!

... I like the backstory on Declan and the Ruthless Creatures series, I still found this book weirdly boring for a JTG story.

Troy Duran was brilliant as always as a narrator but the female narrator just didn't do it for me. She sounded whiny and schoolmarmish. The character Tru as such was unusually bland for a JTG character, so the voice fit.

For me, Liam and Tru's chemistry was ruined by the female narrator, and unfortunately, book 2 in this series is performed by the same two voice actors.
