A poor shoemaker and his wife need money to pay the rent. He gives away the last pair of shoes he has to a needy person. Before going to bed, he cuts out the last pieces of leather so that he can sew them into a pair of shoes the next day. Three elves come in the night and make the pair of shoes which he sells for more than his asking price the next day.

The Princess and the Pea is the story of a prince who wishes to marry a princess but is having difficulty finding a suitable wife. One night a young woman who claims to be a princess arrives at the palace, so the prince's mother decides to test their unexpected guest by placing a pea under her bed, covered by 20 feather mattresses. In the morning, the guest tells her hosts that she had a sleepless night, kept awake by something hard in the bed. So the two are married because only a real princess would be sensitive enough to feel a pea through so much bedding.

STILL ROARING is a full cast audio presentation, fully dramatized with music and sound effects. Full of nostalgia and humor, it follows the story of Rosylyn DeMarco, a dancer and actress in Vaudeville. When the play begins the time is now. Rosylyn is old— very old. She reminisces with Buddy Jr., the Cable Guy, about the Roaring Twenties and her Vaudeville days. The time switches to then, and a fresh-faced young Rosylyn steps off the bus and into a new life in New York City.
