Everyone has to think in order to function in the world, but what is the best way to reason effectively in your pursuit of reliable beliefs and useful knowledge? What is the best way to prove a case, create a rule, solve a problem, justify an idea, invent a hypothesis, or evaluate an argument? In short, what is the best way to think? Professor Hall helps you cut through deception and faulty reasoning in these 24 humorous, clear, and interesting lectures, offering a friendly but intellectually rigorous approach to the problem of thinking.
These 36 intellectually challenging yet remarkably clear lectures take you on an intellectual journey to explore the questions of divine existence, not from the standpoint of theology, but as an issue of epistemology, the classic branch of philosophy that concerns itself with knowledge theory: how we can know things and how we can know we know them.If you enjoy wrapping your mind around questions for which every potential answer triggers a new set of questions and issues, you will find this course particularly enjoyable, regardless of whether you define yourself as a believer, an atheist, or an agnostic.
After her journalist husband and infant son are brutally executed in a fire in their Florida home, photographer Harper McDaniel has nothing left to live for - except settling the score. When the local police fail to take the arson seriously, Harper takes the reins and discovers her husband was investigating some mysterious deaths at a cacao plantation on the Ivory Coast. Now she's convinced he was targeted in a corporate conspiracy to silence him.
Millennial Hospitality is not like any other audiobook you may have heard about aliens. You will find out many new things such as the answer to the question, "Where do the children of aliens play?" This audiobook is about friendship, romance, and terror and is based on the true life experiences of the author, who claims he is not an alien.
Fans of the previous four titles in the Millennial Hospitality series will be surprised to see Millennial Hospitality V: The Grays is about a totally different group of extraterrestrials. In this latest audiobook, Charles will walk you through his two separate TDYs (temporary duty) in the valley of the Grays. Charles also lays out what he believes actually happened during the events surrounding the 1947 Roswell Crash.
In the first three volumes of his memoirs concerning experiences while serving at Nellis Air Force Base, Charles Hall gave astonishing testimony of having met with “Tall White” extraterrestrials located at a secret underground facility at Nellis. Three independent witnesses have come forward to confirm important parts of Hall's testimony. Hall is a credible witness of extraterrestrials having reached agreements with US military officials.
Returning from the horrors of World War I, James Hall and Charles Nordhoff follow a dream to tour the South Pacific. They later coauthored Mutiny on the Bounty. This is a love story. A travelogue and an adventure rolled into one.
Despite Harper McDaniel’s best efforts, the man responsible for the murder of her husband and son was exonerated thanks to some slick legal wrangling. This blatant injustice has only made Harper more determined than ever to bring down the culprit. Her ammunition? Incriminating information about his olive oil operations in Italy. But the clues that she follows are leading her into the depths of a corrupt plot that is more poisonous and far-reaching than she realizes. And more dangerous, too, because her enemy is prepared for her pursuit.

You will find this book, although an exciting narrative, has an unpolished feel, because it was published in June of 1918, while Mr. Hall was a captive in a German POW camp. When he was captured behind enemy lines, the book was still a work in progress.
Warfare in the sky for the first time in history! The French Lafayette Espadrille accepts Americans to serve as pilots before America's entry into World War I. James Norman Hall describes his frightening experiences flying over enemy lines and his soul searching when commanded to kill. He recounts his training in a French flight school, his friendships with other trainees and his crash landing in German territory.
All kinds of evolved life forms wash up on the beaches of Key West, just waiting for a chance to wreak havoc on the general population. Take Douglas Barnes, president of Barnes Waste Management, who gets his jollies by sending some amazing things into the outer atmosphere; or Dougie Barnes, who has a predilection for poetry, parrots and perversion. Into this haven for the insane waltzes Trula Montoya, a former TV actress with a secret, and Shaw Chandler, a disenchanted EMS worker on the scent of murder.
Every night you receive messages from the deepest recesses of your subconscious mind: you dream. But often these messages are cloaked in mysterious symbols and imagery. Only by learning to understand and interpret them can you take full advantage of the knowledge and power hidden within your dreams. This classic work of dream interpretation takes you through the classic Jungian approach to dreaming philosophy and psychology.
Passion and intrigue heat up the Florida Keys as Thorn and Alexandra Rafferty face down a brutal killer bent on destroying everything they hold dear. In the widely acclaimed Blackwater Sound, James W. Hall brought together his two protagonists--the dark, hardbitten Thorn and the feisty Miami cop Alexandra Rafferty. But before Alexandra came into Thorn's life, there had been Anne Joy, a beautiful woman escaping from her violent past in the languid life of the Florida Keys.
A simple black-and-white photograph, taken during the 1964 Clay-Liston fight in Miami Beach, sets off a modern-day murder spree that reaches from the quiet neighborhoods of Miami to the back corridors of the White House. When the last remaining copy falls into the hands of Thorn, a Key Largo recluse, he and everyone he loves become the targets of madmen and trained killers, each of whom has his own powerful motive to see the photograph destroyed forever and its secrets kept hidden.
