Casteel Da’Neer knows all too well that very few are as cunning or vicious as the Blood Queen, but no one, not even him, could’ve prepared for the staggering revelations. The magnitude of what the Blood Queen has done is almost unthinkable.

Bestowed the forbidden Summer’s Kiss by the King of the Summer fae, Brighton Jussier is no longer just human. What she is, what she will become, no one knows for sure, but that isn’t her biggest concern at the moment. Now Caden, the King, refuses to let her go, even at the cost of his Court. When the doorway to the Otherworld is breached, both Brighton and Caden must do the unthinkable - not just to survive themselves, but also to save mankind from the evil that threatens the world.

For the first time in her adult life, Shara has plenty of money thanks to the Isador legacy - and she's not alone. Daire and Rik are devoted lovers, but they know other Blood are coming. Blood who may challenge Rik for the coveted alpha spot at her back. As her power grows, so does her hunger. But without fangs, she fears she'll never be the queen her Blood expect. More Blood means power struggles and complications, and she has no idea how to keep everyone happy. Worse, her dreams are quickly becoming something to fear.

The Triune's attention is a deadly thing to attract. The world's oldest and most powerful vampire queens devise a plan to ensure the fledgling Isador queen is eliminated before she can call enough Blood to protect her. But Shara has already drawn formidable and famously powerful Blood to her side: Leviathan, king of the depths; Guillaume de Payne, the headless Templar knight; Wu Tien Xin, the silent invisible assassin; Nevarre, the Morrigan's own Shadow; and, of course, her first two Blood, Alrik and Daire, inexperienced, but extremely powerful in their own right.

The Reaver king tried to take everything from me—and almost managed to achieve his goals. But I'm fighting back. That takes me into the hostile lands of my birth, where everyone hates what I have become. Or do they? Either way, there's only one way out of this. I have to become the queen everyone says I am to lead both of our people out of this mess. If we don't all work together, none of us will survive.

I thought getting a mate would solve my problems. I thought The Oracle would answer my questions. As it turns out, I was wrong on both counts. Because I have not one, but five mates. They’ve all claimed a piece of me, but instead of making me whole, they’ve torn me apart.

To escape a curse, I married four cocky Fae kings. The arrogant sea king who would pursue me to the ends of the world. The brothers of autumn, who have loved me, and hated me, and can't quite make their minds where they fall now. The winter king, who betrayed me to save his own court. The five of us are bound together, even if we're not sure now if we're enemies or lovers or both. My father, the High King of all four kingdoms, is still alive—and he'll stop at nothing to make sure I die instead of reclaiming my throne.
