    Gary Segars previews all 18 programs, starting with the three-team championship tier. Oregon has the conference’s most complete roster around Dante Moore, an experienced defense and a manageable schedule. Ohio State may possess the highest ceiling with Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith, but the Buckeyes face significant defensive turnover and a brutal path. Indiana must replace a Heisman Trophy quarterback and major championship production, yet Curt Cignetti’s transfer-portal record keeps the Hoosiers firmly in contention.
    The dark-horse tier includes USC, Michigan, Penn State and Washington. USC has the offensive talent to disrupt the race if Gary Patterson repairs the defense. Michigan begins a fascinating new era with Kyle Whittingham and Bryce Underwood, while Penn State undergoes a near-total program transplant under Matt Campbell. The middle tier includes Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, South Carolina, Auburn, and Vanderbilt, while Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Arkansas face uphill rebuilds.
