• Body Image, Shame & the Women Who Help Us Heal
    Jul 23 2026

In this Summer Girl Chat, Sally and I explore what often sits underneath body shame: stress, loneliness, perfectionism, and the longing to simply be seen. We talk about why so many women fall into trauma bonding, why trying to “fix” ourselves rarely brings lasting peace, and how healing begins when we’re met with compassion instead of judgment.

We also dive into the power of women’s circles, what it means to truly hold space for one another, and why so many of us are craving deeper connection over surface-level conversations.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying shame alone, this conversation is an invitation to exhale. You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to have it all together. Sometimes healing begins simply by being seen.

  • Graduation serious part 1: Learning to Let Go, Building the Capacity to Hold Joy & Grief
    Jul 21 2026

There are seasons in life that stretch your heart in ways you never expected.

In this episode, I open up about watching my oldest daughter graduate, navigating the reality of letting go, and the unexpected lessons we both learned during her final high school track season after an injury threatened everything she had worked toward.

This episode isn’t just about graduation or sports.

It’s about what it means to build the capacity to hold joy and grief at the same time. To trust when life doesn’t go according to plan. To create safety within your nervous system so you can stay present in the moments that matter most instead of spiraling in fear or trying to control the outcome.

We explore how our bodies respond to uncertainty, why healing isn’t about avoiding hard emotions, and how motherhood continually invites us to soften, surrender, and remember who we are.

If you’re walking through a season of change, holding both heartbreak and gratitude, or simply longing to feel more grounded in the middle of life’s uncertainty, this conversation is for you.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Holding the duality of motherhood and letting go
    • Building emotional and nervous system capacity
    • Supporting our children through disappointment
    • Trusting God in seasons of uncertainty
    • Why your body is always listening
    • Moving from protection into safety
    • How breath, movement, and presence help us reconnect with ourselves
    • Remembering who you are in the middle of becoming

So whether you’re celebrating, grieving, letting go, or simply learning how to hold both at once, I hope this conversation feels like a deep breath for your soul…a reminder that you don’t have to rush through this season. You can stay, soften, and trust the becoming.

  • What Happens When You Finally Feel Safe to Be Yourself: Why Every Woman Needs Community
    Jul 16 2026

The episode for every woman who’s ever wondered what it would feel like to be fully seen, fully accepted, and finally able to exhale.

In this Summer Girl Chat, Sally and I are talking about something we both believe every woman is craving: true community. The kind where you don’t have to perform, wear a mask, have it all together, or earn your belonging. The kind where you can simply show up exactly as you are.

We share our own stories of feeling disconnected, lonely, and like we had to play different roles in different relationships and how finding a safe community of women helped us remember who we really are.

We talk about why healing happens in connection, why play and joy return when we feel safe, and why sometimes one brave woman going first gives everyone else permission to do the same.

This conversation is an invitation to ask yourself:

Do you have a place where you can fully exhale?

Where you don’t have to hold it all together?

Where you can laugh, cry, play, dream, and simply be?

If the answer is no, know that you are not alone. And maybe that’s exactly why this conversation found you today.

We also share something we’re incredibly excited about a private community we’re creating for women who are longing for deeper connection, more play, and a place to remember themselves again.

  • Remember what it's like to play: Because joy and play is part of healing too.
    Jul 9 2026

When was the last time you did something simply because it brought you joy?

    Not because it burned calories.

    Not because it was productive.

Not because it checked another box.

Just because it made you feel… alive.

This week’s conversation reminded both of us how easy it is to forget that being an adult does not mean we have to stop playing.

Somewhere between raising families, building careers, caring for everyone else, and trying to keep up with life, we stop noticing the little moments that make life feel magical.

The warmth of the sun on your face.

A song that makes you want to dance.

    Walking barefoot in the grass.

    Laughing until your stomach hurts.

    Watching your kids experience wonder.

Taking a deep breath and realizing… I’m here.

This isn’t an episode about adding one more thing to your to-do list.

It’s an invitation to slow down long enough to remember what has been inside you all along.

Maybe play isn’t something we leave behind in childhood.

Maybe it’s one of the ways we find our way back home.

  • The Story Loop That’s Keeping You Stuck: What story are you still believing about yourself… that was never actually yours?
    Jul 2 2026

In this episode of Watch Sunsets with Me, we’re diving into the stories we tell ourselves and how deeply they shape the way we move through life.

From beliefs about money, worthiness, and “who gets to have what,” to the quieter stories like “I’m too weird” or “I have to fit in to belong,” we explore how many of these thoughts were never actually ours to begin with. They were inherited, absorbed, or picked up along the way… and over time, they start to feel like truth.

We talk about what happens when we begin to question those beliefs. When we pause long enough to ask: Is this actually mine? Is this still true for me? And what becomes possible when we stop living on autopilot and start choosing a new story one rooted in authenticity, self-expression, and desire.

This conversation moves through identity, anxiety, belonging, and the tension of trying to be yourself in spaces that don’t always make room for that. But more than anything, it’s a reminder that there is no “normal” version of you you’re supposed to become. There’s just you, becoming more fully you.

If you’ve ever felt like you were shrinking, performing, or holding parts of yourself back just to fit in… this one is for you.

  • Gathering Evidence for Joy: What if everything you’ve overcome is proof that what you desire is possible?
    Jun 25 2026

This week Sally and I are sitting down for another episode of our Summer Chat Girls series.

We talked about the desires we have…the ones that keep tugging at your hearts and how easy it is to convince ourselves they’re too far away, too unrealistic, or just “not for us.”

What if the evidence is already there?

What if you looked back and noticed all the moments you thought you weren’t going to make it… and somehow you did. All the prayers that were answered in ways you couldn’t have planned. All the little things you’ve received that you once wished for.

We talked about gratitude, trusting yourself, choosing from love instead of fear, and finding your way back to who you are underneath all the noise.

A conversation about joy, desire, trust, and remembering that life gets to feel nourishing too.

  • Fear vs. Love: The Stories We Tell Ourselves
    Jun 18 2026

This week in our Summer Girl Chat Series, Sally and I are diving into one of the simplest yet most powerful questions we can ask ourselves:

Is this fear talking, or is this love?

So many of us move through our days carrying stress, overwhelm, self-doubt, and the feeling that we always need to be doing more. Without even realizing it, those thoughts can shape how we see ourselves, our bodies, our relationships, and our lives.

In this episode, we explore how small shifts like changing “I have to” to “I get to” can help us move from fear, control, and self-criticism into gratitude, compassion, and choice.

We also share a simple mirror practice that invites you to pause, look yourself in the eyes, and meet yourself with a little more kindness. Not to fix anything. Not to become someone new. Just to reconnect with yourself.

This conversation is a reminder that creating change doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with noticing the story you’re telling yourself and choosing a different one.

Think of this conversation as two friends sitting on a porch at sunset, honestly about life, motherhood, self-compassion, how to stop shrinking and enjoy life more. Thanks for being part of our girl chat.

    💛 This week’s invitation:
What story have you been telling yourself that feels like it’s on repeat? Instead of judging it, simply notice it. Then ask yourself: Is this coming from fear, or is it coming from love? What might change if you chose a different story?

  • Watching Your Life Like a Movie: The Practice of Noting & Tracking
    Jun 11 2026

This week, Sally and I are chatting about one of our favorite tools that has helped us and our clients become more aware, more connected, and find more joy in everyday life.

    Noting and Tracking

Or as we like to call it…

Watching your life like a movie.

Have you ever found yourself stress eating the chips, snapping at your kids, shutting down, procrastinating, or repeating a pattern you’ve promised yourself you’d stop… and then later thought,

“Wait… why did I do that?”

    We’ve both been there.

In this episode, we’re talking about how to slow down long enough to notice what’s actually going on beneath our reactions instead of just moving through life on autopilot.

    We chat about:

    • What noting and tracking actually is.
•How emotions are energy in motion
    • Why awareness is the first step to rewiring old patterns
    • How to create space between who you are and what you’re experiencing
    • The simple question that can change everything: “What do I need right now?”
    • How noticing joy is just as important as noticing stress.

This conversation feels like sitting down with friends and having one of those talks where you’re nodding your head thinking,

    “Oh my gosh… me too.”

So many of us are carrying the same struggles, asking the same questions, and wondering why we keep repeating the same patterns.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or like you’re just moving through the motions of life, this episode will give you a simple place to start reconnecting with yourself.

Grab a notebook, find a cozy spot, and come hang out with us as we talk about meeting ourselves with a little more awareness, compassion, and love.
