    Friday, August 28th: Hebrews 10:1–10 describes the law and its repeated sacrifices as a shadow pointing toward Jesus. Animal blood could never finally remove human sin, so the Son of God took on a body, obeyed the Father perfectly, and offered Himself in our place. Through His once-for-all sacrifice, everyone who trusts Him is set apart as belonging to God.
