• YOU CANNOT SERVE WHAT YOU DO NOT SEE (full episode)
    Oct 2 2025

“You Cannot Serve What You Cannot See”

This five-part series dives into the historic and ongoing struggle between white therapists/coaches and Black African American clients. For generations, Black realities have been overlooked, minimized, or misunderstood in therapeutic and coaching spaces. We unpack why this disconnect exists, how whiteness and anti-Blackness shape the dynamics, and the burden it places on Black clients to carry the weight of translation.

Through candid conversations, lived experiences, and coaching insights, these episodes hold space for two tracks:

    • Centering Black Women’s Experiences — honoring the voices, realities, and wisdom of Black African American women as more than case studies, but as the heart of the conversation.
    • Coaching the Coaches — equipping therapists and coaches to better serve Black African American clients by naming what has been historically unseen.

  • ONCE UPON A TIMELINE:PT 2 Parent Teachers Conference Night
    May 26 2025

In Part 2, the tension breaks—but the clarity builds. This episode captures the sacred decompression ritual between mother and daughter, the unspoken language of facial expressions, and the deep relief of knowing someone truly has your back. Through humor, survival, and the sharp instinct of a neurodivergent child, we reveal more than a school night—we expose the frameworks that formed our resilience.

Because the only thing more powerful than a report card… is a parent who knows you for real.

Before we get too deep into new terms, strategies, and the philosophies that shape this series, we’re staying grounded in what made them necessary. This is part two of a memory—because the backstory is the blueprint.

This episode introduces foundational concepts like:

    · Decompression as a survival ritual, not just a break

    · Facial reading as a neurodivergent information scan

    · “Where does she go?” as both a literal and symbolic question

    · And what it really means when someone has your back

You can’t build new paradigms without honoring the ones that held you up. That’s what this story does. It explains where I went—and why I came back with the language to help others find their way too.

  • ONCE UPON A TIMELINE:PT 1 PARENT TEACHERS CONFERENCE NIGHT
    May 26 2025

In this episode, we begin where all stories should—with context. This isn’t just a parent-teacher night; it’s a moment etched in memory, where a child's fear, humor, and hyper-awareness collide. From misinterpreting “the field” to decoding the emotional weather forecast on her mother’s face, this backstory opens the door to lived experiences, layered identities, and the survival skills neurodivergent kids develop early. You’ll laugh, reflect, and be introduced to the language and frameworks that shape the series. Because you can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’re from.

Welcome to Once Upon a Timeline, where we break down moments that seem small—but carry the weight of everything. In this opening story, we go back to a hallway, a locked door, and the anxiety of waiting for a report that could shift your whole world.

This episode sets the tone. It’s not just about what happened that night—but how it happened, how it felt, and how it shaped the tools I now use in storytelling, parenting, and policy. You’ll start hearing terms and phrases throughout this series—like “hyper-awareness,” “decompression,” “processing speed,” and even the use of Once upon a time into once upon a timeline to help me anchor Time.

So, before we get into the innovations, paradoxes, and paradigm shifts… we begin here.
