Episode 2 is about Race. This is a topic that's very personal to me, my own experiences and perspectives on race in America.

"My family's background is unique, as my parents come from the baby boomer generation. They didn't strongly identify with their racial backgrounds; instead, they related more to their generation and their New York roots."

"Growing up, I didn't know about my parents' racial backgrounds, so I saw my mom as 'white' and my dad as a light-skinned 'black' man. This led to the assumption that I was mixed, a label I later questioned."

"I don't claim one race over the other. I identify as a person of color, but I also actively acknowledge my privilege as someone who is 'light-skinned' or has been considered 'white passing' by others in my past."

"The facts are that 99.6% of humans share the same DNA. It's a reminder that while our individual experiences and backgrounds are unique, our common genetic makeup is a testament to our shared humanity."

"I actively choose to fight against colorism and to uplift people of all skin colors, textures, and marginalized communities that often don't receive the recognition and attention they deserve."
