• RAF459: Dean's Trail in a Foot of Snow - Springdale Arkansas
    Apr 30 2026

Weather department. According to Alexa, we received between 8 and 12 inches between Friday night and Saturday night, with an expected additional 2 inches today. My name is Michael Davis, and this is a show about fitness, diet, and medicine. My goal is to live a long, healthy, happy, active life right up to the very end. And we're active today, I'll tell you that. But it's all about living long and loving life.

Love life, you gotta do some crazy things once in a while. Well, it's a beautiful day at Lake Fayetteville. And it's, well, it's snowing. And it's been snowing throughout the night.

  • RAF457: Factor_ be Gone!
    Apr 25 2026

    Apr 21 2026

You get to pick your meals, and so it's not just a random group. They do have defaults, though, so if you don't choose anything. And there's a huge block of ice, of course, that's keeping it cold. And that takes a while to melt, I can tell you.

Green chili chicken. I'm going to try this in a minute. Honey butter, honey. Butter chicken breast.

  • RAF453: Trail of Tears Part 3 - Old Wire Road - Pea Ridge National Park
    Apr 7 2026

The 1830 Indian Removal Act required that the Cherokee Nation surrender ancestral lands and move west. In 1838, more than 16,000 Cherokee Nation citizens began their trek west from their traditional eastern homeland to Indian Territory (present-day Oklahoma) along the Trail of Tears. They traveled by existing roads and rivers. Many groups left in the fall, hoping to avoid the disease and heat of summer travel, only to face treacherous winter weather.

  • RAF452: Trail of Tears - Tsa-La-Gi Trail
    Apr 4 2026

Tsa-La-Gi Trail, of course, is part of the Trail of Tears that I talked about in a previous episode. Something I've been thinking about for a long time, you know, every time I'm driving along, because sometimes it's actually on the roads, you know, the trails become roads and such.
