Episode 30 rounds out my Foundations of Audio Series. In it I collect the knowledge we have been building on training our ears and room acoustics to talk about how we can apply that knowledge to set up a sound system to perform optimally.

In this 29th episode of RAVE, we go deeper into the Foundations of Audio series to gain a better understanding of room acoustics and how this impacts sound system performance and recording results.

In this episode, I share my personal struggle with depression and the impact it has had on my life. I delve a bit into the encouragement and support I received from and reflect on overcoming challenges and bouncing back.

In this landmark 25th episode, I get vulnerable about where my heart and head are now after almost 30 years of producing live events. I explore issues of burnout, my anger and resentment at all the personal sacrifices, the pains I have endured and still endure, the scars on my body, heart, and mind, my own inner struggle for self-worth, and finding a hopeful path forward.

I hope this episode encourages you to reflect and take a self-assessment not just of your career goals but also of who you are as a person, and of your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
