• Sunday Special: Politics
    Jan 25 2026

This is a Sunday long-form episode. No training. No workouts. No fitness talk.

This is me, off the clock, talking about what I’ve lived through and what I believe.

From riots I watched growing up, to the so-called “Summer of Love,” to anti-ICE protests and the insanity of defunding the police. From a sitting President being shot, to Charlie Kirk being murdered for using his voice. From media narratives that chase clicks instead of truth, to why I don’t trust cable news and why I cross-check everything.

I talk about what it means to be a liberal conservative. Caring about humanity while believing in law, order, accountability, and boundaries. Supporting police and ICE while demanding consequences for those who abuse power. Believing government should stay out of our lives as much as possible. Protecting families, kids, and the people who just want to get home alive.

This episode isn’t meant to convince you. It’s meant to be honest.

If it offends you, that’s fine. Sunday is for saying the quiet parts out loud.

  • Ready. Aim. Play: Precision Is Recovery
    Jan 23 2026

Most lifters think recovery means shutting off. That works… until it doesn’t.

In this episode, Chris breaks down why precision, not inactivity, calms the nervous system, improves recovery, and even builds more muscle. From video games to the shooting range to mind–muscle connection research, this episode explains why focused engagement works better than doing nothing.

If you train hard, compete, and live under real stress, this one matters.

  • Stop Buying Gym Shit You Don’t Need
    Jan 20 2026

Everyone wants the perfect setup. The perfect home gym. The perfect commercial gym. The perfect hotel gym.

Most people still don’t train well.

In this episode, Chris Marzarella breaks down what gym equipment actually matters at home, in a commercial gym, and when you’re traveling and staring at a hotel dumbbell rack that stops at 55.

    This isn’t a shopping list. It’s a reality check.

    You’ll learn:

    • What a garage gym really needs and what’s a waste of money
    • How experienced lifters actually move through commercial gyms
    • How to train during travel without pretending hotel workouts are “PR sessions”
    • How to maintain muscle with limited equipment
    • Why effort, density, and planning beat gear every time

Plus, a straight talk plug for two drug-tested bodybuilding shows: The 2026 OCB South Carolina Classic (registration open) and Natural Kingdom (details coming soon).

If you train seriously, this episode will save you money, time, and excuses.

And yes — stop buying shit you don’t need.

  • Let's roast everyone
    Jan 14 2026

Gyms used to be places to train.

Now they’re full of bad etiquette, worse habits, and people who don’t realize they’re the problem. In this episode, Chris Marzarella counts down and roasts the most annoying and unacceptable gym behaviors. It’s blunt, sarcastic, and ends where it should: with respect, boundaries, and letting people train in peace.

  • So you wanna do steroids? There's a tradeoff
    Jan 13 2026

Steroids work. That isn’t the debate.

This episode is about the other side of the equation. The benefits, the pressure, and the long-term costs that rarely get talked about honestly.

No preaching. No scare tactics. Just a real conversation about training, identity, and what you’re actually trading when shortcuts enter the picture.

  • Experience Beats Algorithms

This episode is about the gap between real-world coaching and internet fitness culture. Chris Marzarella talks about earning credibility the slow way, why most advice stays surface-level, and why answering real questions matters more than chasing attention.

  • Episode 1: Strength, Hypertrophy, and Training for Life
    Jan 5 2026

In this first episode of the Powerbuilding 365 Podcast, Chris Marzarella lays the foundation for what this show is about: training for strength, building muscle, and staying in the game for life.

Using real-world coaching experience, evidence-based principles, and sports psychology, this episode covers why most lifters burn out, how deloads and mindset actually work, and why consistency beats intensity over decades.

    This isn’t motivation. It’s structure.

  • Bonus Episode: Outside the Program
    Jan 10 2026

This isn’t a normal episode, and that’s intentional.

Between fitness, sports psychology, bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman, and coaching, this podcast usually lives in systems, plans, and things you can measure.

    This week didn’t cooperate.

In this short bonus episode, currently I'm going through a real-life interruption, what it’s like to sit with uncertainty, and why not everything fits neatly into a program.

Regular training content resumes next episode.
