    on this episode me and Jake have a chat about our weeks and what we have been up to, how training has gone etc. we then chat about Jakob Ingebritsons comeback where he raced the European championships and won the 5k, it was almost as though he had never left despite not racing for 11 months. We then also have a chat about some silly things like which pro triathlete and Hyrox athlete would last longest on love Island! :) and who would be worse to go on a stag do with and a few others. we also speak about how my race went the other wek with Jordan Stanton who weighs 104kg where I had to put a 20kg weighted vest on to race him. we finish the episode chatting about a workout which you could do during the week?

  • A sit down with Marc Dubrick!

    In this episode me, Jake and Marc sit down for a chat regarding the ever changing landscape of long course triathlon, Marcs nomadic lifestyle where he currently finds himself in Norwich to give himself an extra 4 days on his visa which will allow him to compete in 70.3 worlds in Nice. Marc also talks us through some of his recent training changes including going self coached and getting the fastest run at 70.3 Poland this weekend just gone and how he plans to step his performances up to be a regular on the podium and fighting it out for the top spots in the worlds biggest races!

  • Triathlon, Hyrox, and what everyday items remind us of what athlete!

Also I did a Hyrox sim for my first time and have a chat about how hard I found it, Including setting a new max heart rate. The insane watts per kg numbers Tadej Pogacar is producing and can he be beaten and also look at a domination performance by Martin Van Riel at Ironman Lake Placid where he almost lead from gun to tape, smashed the course record and has put himself out there as one of the favourites for Kona!

  • Jake Dearden Hyrox Elite 15 and 2.22 Marathon

    On this episode i speak to Hyrox elite 15 athlete Jake dearden. Jake has managed to become one of the best hyrox athletes in the world and as well as being an elite 15 athlete he ran 2.28 at the Berlin marathon in 2024 and then went on to run 2.22 at the Houston marathon. This episode was just days before Jake attempted a sub 2.20 marathon at Houston. It’s great to see what jakes attitude and mindset is like and what makes him tick.
