  • What is a cycle breaker?
    Jan 7 2025

    What is a Cycle Breaker?

I am Jennifer Vincent. Therapist, clinical supervisor, wife and adoptee parent. I am the owner of Therapy for Cycle Breakers based in Largo, Florida.

A cycle breaker is someone who recognizes the harmful patterns in their life — or the lives of their family or community — and makes a conscious, often difficult, choice to change that pattern.

It’s important to note that being a cycle breaker doesn’t necessarily mean you’re perfect or that you don’t have struggles of your own. It means you are actively aware of the pattern and you are making choices to create something different.
