I did not want it to end
The magnitude of this story aside, I have enjoyed the voice of this narrator more than I‘ve ever enjoyed any other british accent. Wow!

Gary’s Message needs to be heard
Overall, I think Gary did write a good book. However you’re going to notice that it‘s his first one. It started good but the last two hours really felt long end boring. Should have been shorted massively. In addition Gary really likes to use the phrase „I guess“ whenever he has no intention to discuss real issues. Just makes him appear completely clueless which is just a disservice towards the whole book. Or I’m sensitive about it.
Anyway, this is definitely a book that should be listened to. Or watch Gary’s YT Channel where he’s going into more detail in these economic issues.

This authentic testimony of one of unknown jobs in the world.

interesting, personal and yet so distance
it is an interesting story with eye opening moments and a personal story.
it isn't formal and it is personal but it is weirdly distant and cold at times. I guess, it is a story told by a player about his favorite game.

insight into the world of trading and it disturbing work culture

What an authentic review of how traders operate
Really enjoyed the story - very raw and authentic on how traders operate and went through the crisis of 2008 and afterwards.
the end is getting a bit messy, but that still makes it an awesome book to listen to.

Wonderful and enlightening
Finished it around 3 days, couldn’t stop listening . Enjoyed Gary’s different accent impressions and his cheeky descriptions of people, experiences, sights and food. 100% would recommend, im definitely buying the physical book as well to support this guy.

Read by the author himself
Excellent story, well read. Best audiobook I have ever experienced. Easy five stars. After finishing it I feel like listening to it again, it was just so good.

Dark, captivating, engaging, enlightening
The book is very good, I especially enjoined the story being told in author's own voice. It combines a crash course in economics as well as an inside look into the madness of life as a trader and dark nature of corporate world. Highly recommended!
