I came across this book after reading some financial blog and the author was praising it as a game changer. It’s not my first book in this series as I am looking to improve my attitude towards personal finances dnd spending routine. However, despite, I guess some good topics covered here overall, I found this book very boring and not catchy enough. The reader also doesn’t help to hook up on it well enough. If someone is really patient to go over 10+h of listening to it perhaps it’ll be useful. But I don’t feel motivated, plus I didn’t hear anything new in this one.

So-so

Financial independence has been portrayed as a possibility just for rich people, condemning the rest of the world to work for the remaining of their lives.
This book explores the idea that that should not be the case; it will embark you on a journey analysing what you actually require for living, reevaluating the things that you believed were important, and leading to an optimistic role about you and your future. Maybe most importantly it seeks to re-establish the huge role that communities should play in our day-to-day lives,
If you want to become a billionaire, this is not for you, but if you aim to live satisfied with your life, the time you enjoy for yourself and your loved ones, and your future, jump in!

At times very interesting and not main stream (but becoming more popular) but disappointed by the accounting focus; goes in too much length into trivial details, e.g. “how do you book the quarters you find in the vending machine?”. Too many examples to explain relatively simple ideas (easy to understand but not as easy to implement)

Thought provoking but too much bean counting

The first half is terrible, then it becomes a little philosophical, but still very bad.

Waste of time and paper
