This was my first book by Aly Martinez and I am absolutely thrilled. From the language style in general, the wonderful dialogues, the exciting twists in the plot, some of which you really could not foresee, to the two main characters, whose decisions and development remain plausible and comprehensible until the end. Caven and Willow - and of course Rosalie - will remain in my memory for a long time. The story touched me a lot, but I also often had to laugh heartily and a lot of times the one or the other tear rolled. And the two narrators were also perfect. I love Christian Fox's voice and his way of speaking, but with this audiobook he surpassed himself. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A new discovery for me was Andi Arndt. She is my new favourite female voice from today. ♥️

Die war mein erster Aly Martinez. Lange Zeit hatte mich das Cover des Buches abgeschreckt. War jedoch unnötig. "Written with Regret" ist ein Buch mit sehr viel, rasanter Handlung, vielen überraschenden Wendungen, die man nicht kommen sieht (Achtung Cliffhanger), mit dreidimensionalen Protagonisten, deren innere Regungen und menschliche Fehlerhaftigkeit überzeugend und nachvollziehbar beschrieben werden. Die Chemie zwischen den beiden stimmt.
AM legt geschickt und leise Krumen aus, die man zunächst nicht bemerkt, die später wichtig sind. Im gesamten Plot kommen keine Fehler oder Unplausibilitäten vor (habe zur Überprüfung oft zurück gespult). Nett ist die Interaktionen mit der Kleinen, die mich oft haben laut lachen lassen, obgleich mir Rosi für ihr Alter vor allem verbal etwas zu weit entwickelt erschien.
Absolut empfehlenswert. Gerade höre ich Teil zwei: geht sich gut an.
