This was my first listen by Ava Harrison, after hearing so much praise about her writing and many book friends’ recommendations I was intrigued. Well, I was not disappointed. This book is a page-turner, and I was hooked until the end. Ava´s writing is deep, emotional, raw, and intense. I was going through every single emotion of the characters, which made me tear up a few times. My heart broke through these twists and turns but was put back together at the end.
I was trying to imagine myself being Bailey, what she had to overcome, the everyday temptation she is struggling with, and how difficult it is fighting to stay in control and not to give into triggers.
Drew, alpha billionaire is battling his own demons and is guilt-ridden for losing someone close to him. It seemed they were meant to meet and beat the odds together to heal.
Tempted is a beautiful, angsty, at times steamy, emotional story of redemption, overcoming and love.
Once again, Joe Arden and Andi Arndt deliver an intense powerful emotional performance. There was a lot of great dialogue to show how talented they are. Joe does alpha male so well and there certainly are enough F***ks for him to play with. Andi is simply amazing. I just love her voice. Her performances always captivate me.
I always enjoy listening to both, Andi & Joe, as anything these two perform, together or individually, is bound to be no less than perfect.
A definite recommended read/listen and I am looking forward to experiencing more stories by Ava Harrison.
