Good story
Aside from the casual internalized misogyny, I personally liked the main character for being a bit rough on the edges at times and she gets more likable towards the end of the book. She's also very much unique plus her transformations could well be my favorite parts of this, as they are amazingly written. The other characters grew on me as well as they were fleshed out. The end had a solid twist and was interesting to read, though a bit too rushed. The reader tended to be rather monotone at times, but did a good job overall.
Solid story telling, interesting relationships, great world building - I'd recommend this.

horrendous portrayal of protagonist
The author clearly wants the listener/reader to think of the protagonist as some kind of naturally gifted alpha wolf and competent investigator, but everything she does after visiting the vampire club for the 1st time makes me think of her as weak, incompetent, rash and submissive. The author shot the story in the foot by wanting a strong alpha that can easily be manipulated and overpowered, because that may be character traits that could work for a strong woman character, but it does not work at all for a character that should by nature be dominant.
The character of the main vampire character is additionally bad for the story since it makes no sense in context of the world that humans would be ok with such powerful individuals living alongside them but then not accept lycans.
And personally I detest her for pretty much destroying the story for me by being the main manipulative tool that reveals the problems with the protagonist I mentioned above.
