Tabbie und Rhyss sind einfach ein sehr ungleiches Paar, die sich aufeinander einlassen und lernen sich zu vertrauen. Dadurch wird diese Story so cool und wunderbar.

What can I say? I loved it. It’s now right next to Heartless in my top favorite books by Elsie Silver. In this beautiful story, you not only get a captivating journey of two “black cats” falling in love despite how much they hated each other because of miscommunication. Tabatha was such a great character—multilayered, a complete badass with the biggest heart, and so damn funny. As for Mr. Wild Side, aka Rhys, this grumpy, kind-hearted man was so observant of what Tabatha and her nephew were feeling and needing. His hesitance to accept that he was a cat daddy was hilarious—it’s a typical story of a man who doesn’t want a pet but ends up loving and bonding with the pet more than anyone.

I loved how the story touched on the journey of grief without overpowering the entire narrative. It was done in such a beautiful way.

Narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clark, it was truly great! I just wish Elsie Silver would do more duet narrations instead of dual narrations. But still, it was a truly amazing audiobook.
