I watched the show some months ago and this story got really stuck in my head, so I wanted to listen to the book.. So I have to say the book has (of course) similarities, but there are some parts I didn't like.. (takes place in only one night for example)
The different speakers are doing a good job. Just sometimes the male speakers "I press Play" was getting on my nerves.. Thats just my opinion though..

But i still enjoyed it! :)

Loved the book. I've read this before, and hearing it with those amazing voice actors made it a whole different experience.

Many people I know don't like this book, because they think it's a girl going around blaming people for her suicide because they did little normal things. To me this book is very important. It taught me that we have no control over the impact we have on other people's lives but that very much we have an impact on the kind of impact. The it doesn't cost to be nice, that it takes no effort to be open towards others. That's the lesson I think this book teaches and I think it's vital.

Das Hörbuch verändert die Art und Weise wie man seine Mitmenschen sieht. Man achtet mehr auf sie. Hannahs Geschichte ist unglaublich tragisch. Ihre Erlebnisse haben mich sehr getroffen und ich fand es manchmal schwer überhaupt noch zu zu hören. Jedoch ist sie auch der Anfang von etwas neuem denn ihre Geschichte und Erlebnisse haben das Leben vieler verändert. Ich kann das Hörbuch/Buch nur empfehlen. Jedoch sollte man alt genug sein um es zu verstehen oder überhaupt verarbeiten zu können. Die Sprecher haben mir das Gefühl vermittelt als würde ich selbst die Kassetten hören die so viel tragisches beinhalten. Unglaublich gut erzählte und aufwühlende kleine Reise. Am Ende kann man es nicht fassen das es zu Ende ist.
