Im Vergleich zu ihren anderen Bücher ist die Storyline hier eher mau. Außerdem nervt der Teenie-Charakter ganz gewaltig. Ein paar Mal hätte ich fast genervt aufgegeben.

… aber der Plot. Bis auf den völlig unlogischen Schluss (Epilog) völlig vorhersehbar und langweilig. Ich habe auf Geschwindigkeit 1.5 gehört, damit ich es beenden konnte.

My first and last novel by McFadden. I found the characters shallow, the plot at times implausible and the language rather simplistic, making it a tedious read.

This was so far her worst book, all her other books always shocked me and were really catching but this one was just too boring all the characters were really unrealistic idk I don’t really recommend this one. The storyline and the twist were predictable and the ending could have been better honestly.

I love storys where you hear a certain detail and you have to pause to recapitulate the whole plot. This audiobook certainly has one of those.
So excuse me while I think about the huge plot twist I just heard.

the Teenage Protagonist really got in my nerves- incredibly whiney, totally selfish and very very stupid. The speaker's voice increased this impression.
