Diese Romanserie bietet genau die richtige Mischung aus Spannung und Landleben. Sympathische Protagonisten und ein sicheres Happy End sorgen für entspanntes Hörvergnügen.

Die Kombination aus Geschichte, einer Gruppe von Personen mit den unterschiedlichsten Fähigkeiten, die aber auch in unterschiedlicher Weise Folgen des 2. Weltkrieges zu tragen haben, und feinem britischen Humor ist einfach wunderbar. Als Deutsche müssen wir halt damit leben, dass wir in dieser Geschichte die Bösen sind so war es eben nun mal. Aber falls unsere (europäische) Welt nochmal in solch finstere Zeiten gerät, hoffe ich, dass wir so zusammenhalten, wie es die Briten in dieser Serie tun!
